Looking to get more value out of your meetup or conference experience?
I’ve noticed that when I go to a conference or meetups, the best conversations usually happen between the sessions or when we’re eating/drinnking. Why is that? Usually, well-intentioned organizers choose topics from a group of interested public speakers. We then pay to sit and listen to these public speakers for 60 minutes at a time. Before, after, or between sessions, something awesome happens. We talk with other people and share ideas. We continue the conversations as long as we see value in them.
Why not have meetups or conferences that do the same?
